On Saturday June 7th I joined a Northern Arizona Audubon Society field trip to Wilson Meadow. This was a new place for me but trip leader Gary had posted from here many times. We saw the best part of 30 species in a little over 3 hours including Dusky Flycatcher, House Wren, Vesper Sparrow, Clark's Nutcracker, Black-headed Grosbeak and MacGillivray's Warbler. The morning's highlight was seeing a pair of Western Wood-pewee setting up a nest in an aspen grove.
