Sedona

After a short stop at home after the eagle survey my wife and I headed down to Sedona. The snow on the red rocks under a blue sky was beautiful and many people were out and about with their cameras. My goal was to add to my Coconino list for 2016 by walking the Brewer Road (Palisades) neighborhood. I added Phainopepla, Western Scrub Jay and Bewick's Wren were new for the year;  Anna's Hummingbird and Ruby-crowned Kinglet were new for the county for the year. But overall it was not too birdy.  After a quick lunch we drove the the Sedona Heritage Museum on Jordan Road where I did not find any of the birds I'd hoped for, but instead added Chipping Sparrow for the year.
